The video to LeToya’s 3rd single “Regret” was finally released.
While there is nothing particularly special about the video, the song is so hot that the video isn’t even a factor. She’s looking good though.
As for the song, LeToya’s vocals are on point. Ludacris’ verse is simple, witty, and doesn’t steal any of LeToya’s shine. Tank’s production is tight. And the lyrics are pretty solid. Usually songs about dead wrong guys play it a little too obvious to the point where the lyrics are cliche. On this song you can relate to what she is singing about (girl or guy). And despite who she is singing to, the chorus resonates with everyone who gave someone swag and in turn they got gassed and ran with it.
They always do regret it in the end.
Hopefully this will be a big hit for her. My question though? Why wasn’t this the 1st single?

Last week the video for the remix of “Video Phone” featuring Lady Gaga was supposed to make it’s world premiere on all MTV owned stations. There was even a countdown clock on several websites. But when the clock hit zero, no video premiered.
They blamed technical difficulties and pushed it back to November 23rd.
Well while STAN’S across the internet breathlessly wait for Beyonce and her RAW EMOTION to finally debut the video, the song itself has finally arrived.
I’m sure this will get pulled by YouTube soon. So listen to it while you can.
It’s not the dramatic display of ridiculousness that I expected due to it after all being a Beyonce song. It’s virtually the same song that is already on “I Am… Sasha Fierce”. Bangladesh is pretty good at making cool beats though. And this song is way better than the super repetitive “Diva”. But at the end of the day, you guys know how I feel about Beyonce.
So now that the song has finally arrived, was it worth the wait?
Back in the day when I worked after school at The Gap was a fun time in my life. I met a lot of good people there. Made good money for a 16 year old. Had fun. And enjoyed a pretty good discount.
I remember looking like the people in the commercials below because basically I bought everything on the Men’s side of the store.
Which brings me to the topic of this blog post. Remember when The Gap commercials were good? Sure after the 900th time of seeing heroin addicted models in leather pants singing Depeche Mode can grate your nerves. But they did their job. You noticed them. And so what about the communist undertones “EVERYONE IN LEATHER” “EVERYONE IN CORDS”. It was like crazy capitalist mind control and it worked.
The Gap should really bring them back for their Fall campaign. Why waste money in a terrible economy when you can repackage something that worked from the past?
“EVERYBODY IN CORDS”
“EVERYBODY IN LEATHER”
Do you remember these commercials? If so did you enjoy them?
By the way, they can leave “EVERYBODY IN VESTS” out… I hated that commercial. But it’s mainly saved by the wimpy guy in the middle that tries to OD and freak it on his one line of singing “In my love!” with mad attitude.
It happens around the 14 second mark.

When I heard about the upcomming “90210” remake, it made me feel OLD. Why? Because they were finally remaking something that started when I was a kid.
As crazy as it may be, I saw the original “90210” pilot episode when it premiered on FOX years ago. So am I happy about this remake/revamp/loose sequel/spin off? Initially, no. Especially since I stopped watching once Shannen Doherty left the show and “Kelly Kapowski” replaced her and in the end of her debut episode she was smoking in the window.
But then I heard my favorite evil girl AnnaLynne McCord from “Nip/Tuck” was cast as a part of the ensemble. My interest has picked up. For starters she was the hottest thing about the show last season. And she is one of the hottest girls on TV. Adding her definitely makes me interested in a recycled show that was born out of an attempt to save a fledgling network from folding.
Here is a VERY NSFW clip of the evil “Eden” in action.
Anyone who can pull off saying such crazy things in a convincing way has skills. Think about it, most people unfortunately say these things in real life. But at least she’s on TV getting paid for it 🙂
